How to Enroll

Grand Rapids Glassblowing Studio offers events where participants work with John to make:

Glass Ornaments (non-blowing inflation)

Glass Paperweights 

Glass Pumpkins (non-blowing inflation)

These events are offered in the spring from mid-March until just before Mothers’ Day, and in the fall from about mid-October until early December. We are closed in summer and winter. 

Events are scheduled on weekends and some Thursdays. We do not do evening workshops. 

We do not offer gift certificates for workshops, nor do we do pre-enrollment.

We do not offer glassblowing classes, nor do we do demonstrations.

We will enroll parties of up to 4 people; participants must be at least 12 years old.

We create a schedule for an event, and then email that announcement to those who are on our email list and post a link on our Facebook page.  Once that happens, enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.   

Potential participants reply to the email or follow the Facebook link to request enrollment, giving:

--Name

--Phone Number

--Dates their party is available

--Total number of glass objects their party will make

--Number of people in the party (limit 4)

Enrollment requests must contain the complete information described above.  Be advised that our workshops generally fill within 1-2 hours of the email/posting.

Enrollment is via email only: no phone calls, nor other messaging.
